Target Market Definition

The first and most important step, way before you engage into a tele-sales campaign, is to clearly define your target market. Although many companies believe that they have done this very well, there are some specific areas that we want to focus with you on - namely, industry vertical, sub-vertical, size, revenue range, geography, and profile of decision makers you want to reach out to. We provide consultative services for you to design a target market along these lines where we share with you our library of case studies where certain strategies work better than others. We follow the Harvard Business Case Study methodology to provide you with best practices on target marketing led by our Expert Market Research team.

Mapping Solution to Market Requirements

The key to success in setting up appointments with a prospective buyer for your solution is for us to understand your solution well. We have the right leadership team who have sold or led sales support in a range of companies - from high-end complex software sales to selling in a Business-to-Customer (B2C) environment. We will spend some time with you in understanding and giving you feedback from the market perspective on your product vision, philosophy, benefits, and key differentiators with your competitors. This knowledge gained is of crucial importance since we then translate this into a core fact-sheet for our telesales agents to use when facing the customer. Our key advantage with our agents is that 100% of our agents hold at least a Bachelor's degree in a Business area or a technical discipline. So they have a background solid enough to absorb much of your product knowledge.

Script Development

Once the product knowledge has been transferred, we work collaboratively on generating a 'script' to use during our calls. The script has several sections in it, each of which is tailored to meet the unique requirements of the target audience. For example, we have different scripts for admins, voice mails, decision maker, influencer, and switchboard operator. Furthermore, we tailor our script to make it dynamically adjustable to include certain interest-generating snippets for the companies we are reaching out to. This adds an additional 'personal' layer to the process and reduces the risk of being turned down by the prospect. We believe that a script is just a guideline for engaging in a friendly and informal conversation with a prospect, it is not something our agents read out to them, unless the campaign is specifically designed to do so (such as in a survey campaign).

Target List Database Development and cleaning

A key value-added service that we found which makes or breaks a campaign is generating the right list to call. If you have a list to call, we will be happy to work with you on cleaning it and maintaining records on a excel spreadsheet where all leads are transferred for documentation purposes. If you do not have a lead to call, we generate leads for you at an additional charge after discussing with you the profile requirements of the prospect.

Training and Feedback

Our team of managers and agents work with us on a daily basis to allow us monitor their calls, give them feedback, as well as brainstorm on better ways of making the campaign effective. Upon request, we would be happy to give you access to remote monitoring facilities so that you can listen to the calls yourself at your convenience, or download recorded calls from a website and listen to them for feedback. Equally importantly, we take our agents' feedback very seriously and compile them to provide you ongoing feedback on the campaign and what the market perception is about your product or services.

We have professional trainers for our call center agents who work on product knowledge, cultural orientation, accent alignment, social skills, and documentation skills. Quick-Strike Pilot Projects

TSF Quick-Strike is a three-month program designed for companies that do not want to sign up initially for a one-year contract. It includes all the services to build a target list, a tele-sales script, and then monitor and launch the tele-sales campaign. After the quick-strike period, if you are confident about the services delivered to you, we will be happy to renew our agreement with you for a discounted rate proportional to the number of seats you would like to utilize and duration of campaign.

Kick-off Tele-sales and Documentation

The modus operandi of the campaign is that each agent logs on at the agreed time zone when the calls are expected to begin, and stay continually online in a chat environment with our Operations Managers. They have the standard product literature, email documentation to be sent upon request, and the lead spreadsheet open in front of them. At the end of each conversation, they document the conversation details on the spreadsheet on a daily basis. Every now and then they ask for online advice to our Solutions Team on how to answer a question, or prepare a better script as time goes by.

At the end of each day, the agents complete the documentation and email their daily report to our Operations Management team with their comments, feedback, suggestions, and further queries. We compile them and send it to you. Every week, we have a discussion with your team on the campaign and strategize on the following week.

Advanced Lead generation with qualification

It is an extremely arduous task to generate a list of leads, unless you pay very high premium to some Lead generation company. We at TSF maintain a huge database of leads from several industry verticals. Additionally, we have a low-cost alternative of using software that allows us to do searches by industry, geography, and institutions.

However, the most rigorous, diligent, and accurate leads are generated during a campaign. When we start reaching out to our initial calling rounds, we continually probe for the decision maker specific to the campaign - through admins, colleagues, and other smart inquiries. TSF has mastered this to an art - we will get you in front of the decision maker.

Setting up phone calls, Webinars, or Meetings

Depending upon the nature of your campaign and requirements, we can set up a phone appointment, tele-conference, webinar, or face-to-face meeting with your prospect at rates dependent on the level and nature of the appointment. Based on our experience, we found that a pre-meeting or pre-teleconference follow up call helps you qualify the leads, and we are happy to set up qualifying rounds with you and the prospect.

Follow-up on leads

Prospects commit to a date in the future, sometimes weeks after the initial contact, and sometimes these slip through the crack. We send an email invitation to the prospect after each appointment set with a copy to you, and can also make a follow up call a day or a few hours before the set appointment to double-check the availability of the prospect and give him or her a gentle reminder. This saves you the time and effort that would otherwise be wasted for "no-shows". We can also do a post-appointment follow-up call with the prospect to express our thanks and get any feedback you want us to elicit from them.

Marketing Literature Mail

Many prospects request our agents to 'email' or 'mail' your company product literature. This is an age-old tactic to deflect telemarketers. We use this to our advantage by immediately qualifying the prospect with specific questions on what exactly they need to see and what are the expected next steps should we send them material. Within a day or two we follow up with the prospect to ask whether they received and reviewed our material and push for that appointment.
